About us
After serving 30 years each with the Georgia Department of Revenue,
Gregg Reese and Tracy Thomas retired and were motivated to build a
better solution for Tax Commissioners to use when processing collections
in counties and cities all over Georgia. Through their efforts, GATCS
was born in 2021 and has been moving forward ever since.
GATCS is heavily influenced by our users' inputs, and we truly strive to
provide a program that brings ease of use, streamlined efficiency, and a
wealth of knowledge that can only be gained through experience.
Combined, Gregg, Tracy, and the GATCS staff have over 145 years of
experience with Georgia Revenue and Taxation laws, rules, regulations,
and procedures dating back to 1976! This comes from a combined 84 years
of experience with the Georgia Department of Revenue, 39 years of
experience in multiple Georgia counties, and 25 years of experience
through GMASS (Georgia Mass Appraisal Solutions & Services) and GATCS.
